Eurowings: Six New Connections to Greece for Summer 2018
Eurowings, a member of the Lufthansa Group, will launch six new direct connections to Greece for summer 2018.
According to the low-cost carrier, a large number of new routes from Munich, Hanover, Cologne, Salzburg, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Palma complete Eurowings offering for next summer season. In total, Eurowings has added 22 new destinations to its flight schedule for summer 2018.
From summer 2018, Eurowings’ new destinations in southern Europe from Hanover include Corfu, Rhodes and Kos. Flights to both Corfu and Rhodes will depart on Tuesdays. Kos has been included in the flight schedule on Sundays. Flights to Monastir in Tunisia have also been added from Hanover.
In summer 2018, a total of five new routes will be added to the Eurowings flight offering from Stuttgart: the new destinations are Alicante in Spain, Newquay in the UK, Venice, Palermo and Zakynthos in Greece. Flights to Zakynthos will depart on Saturdays.
In Salzburg, passengers can book direct flights to Crete, which will operate every Friday.
Corfu is another Greek island now included in the new schedule from Düsseldorf. Flights to Greece’s seventh largest island will depart on Saturdays.
Hamburg’s flight schedule also includes Corfu with flights on two days a week – Tuesdays and Saturdays. Passengers departing from Hamburg can also take advantage of a Eurowings flight to Jersey.
Moreover, Bangkok, Las Vegas, Montego Bay, Mauritius, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Fort Myers, Varadero and Windhoek have now been added to the destinations bookable from Munich, where the airline has based three Airbus A330 long-haul aircraft. In addition, there are scheduled flights from Cologne to Fort Myer, Florida.
Eurowings will also connect Palma with Memmingen in Bavaria. Palma is the carrier’s third international base after Vienna and Salzburg.
