Fraport Greece to Hold 1st ‘Airport Run’ to Support Vulnerable Groups

Fraport Greece is organizing the first ever Greek “Airport Run” in the premises of its airports around Greece, as part of efforts to promote the benefits of exercise and support the “All Together We Can” program.

Fraport GreeceStarting on November 5 from the Kavala airport “Megas Alexandros”, the company will gradually open all 14 Greek airports under its management to locals and athletes from all over Greece. By entering the race, the participants will also contribute to a special cause, as all participation fees will be donated to support the “All Together We Can” program.

“The Fraport – Greece Kavala Airport Run will be a unique experience for all participants. An opportunity to exercise in a unique place and environment. We invite everyone to embrace our initiative by joining us in this effort to support the very important work of ‘All Together We Can’,” Fraport Greece CEO Alexander Zinell said.

Since 2011, the “All Together We Can” (“Oloi Mazi Mporoume” in Greek) program is actively involved in welfare, health, education and environment initiatives, aiming to relieve vulnerable social groups.

The Fraport Greece – Kavala Airport Run will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2017,  at 11:00 am. The event includes a 10-km and a 5-km race, as well as a 1-km race for children.
