More Flights to Connect Athens with Moscow
Greece and Russia have agreed to boost flights between Athens and Moscow by up to 35 weekly, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reports.
According to RIA Novosti, the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) announced in a statement that “as a result of correspondence between the aviation authorities in Russia and Greece, an agreement has been reached to increase the frequency of flights on the Moscow-Athens, Athens-Moscow routes to up to 35 flights per week for designated Russian and Greek carriers on a tentative basis until the next round of consultations”.
According to the same statement, on Russia’s part two local airlines will be operating the additional 14 new flights to Athens.
