Sky Express Announces 2017/18 Winter Program Plus New Routes
Sky Express on Wednesday announced its winter timetable for travel between November 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018 and has increased flight frequencies and destinations.
According to an announcement, the Greek airline will increase its flights by 63 percent compared to last year and also add two new routes, Athens-Corfu and Athens-Kos.
Athens-Corfu flights will operate twice daily and Athens-Kos flights will run daily from Sunday to Thursday and twice daily every Friday.
Moreover, Sky Express is increasing the frequency of flights to/from Athens and Heraklion to three daily flights from Monday to Friday and two daily flights on Saturday and Sunday.
The 2017/18 winter program also sees increased schedules to the routes Athens-Zakynthos, Athens-Paros, Athens-Ikaria and Athens-Skiathos.
Athens-Kalymnos 2017 summer route
Sky Express also announced that Kalymnos is among the destinations that it will exclusively serve until the end of the 2017 summer season.
Following a recent tender process of the Greek Infrastructure and Transport Ministry, Sky Express is now the exclusive carrier of the Athens-Kalymnos-Athens route from August 1 until September 30. The route may receive an extension to run until November 30.
Sky Express will serve the above route with six flights per week, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (twice daily), Friday and Saturday.
Seats on all of the above-mentioned flights are available for booking. All of the airline’s fares include baggage and handbaggage, as well as complimentary access to its lounge in Athens.
