Greek Travel Pages (GTP) Seeking Hire Sales Marketing Assistant Athens

Greek Travel Pages (GTP), Greece’s ultimate source of information for tourism professionals and travellers, is looking to recruit a skilled accounts receivable clerk / collection specialist to provide financial, administrative and clerical services.

Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.


  • Monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments
  • Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
  • Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
  • Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Resolve billing and customer credit issues
  • Update account status records and collection efforts
  • Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports
  • Invoice issuance
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department



Education: Bachelor in Accounting or in Business Administration or equivalent

Experience: 1-3 year in a similar position


  • Good knowledge of Greek’s accounting rules and tax laws
  • Fluent in English (Mandatory)
  • Prior experience in ERP
  • Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel


Required profile:

  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Ability to understand accounting and tax issues
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Discrete and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Team management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working with targets
