‘Spyrou Philoxenia’ Adds New Members to Growing Network

Hotel management company Spyrou Philoxenia recently added four new affiliate hotels, located on Skopelos, Kyllini, Nafpaktia and Zagorochoria, to its growing network.

“Each of our new members have something unique and exciting to offer our guests,” said John Grigoras, Deputy Manager Sales and Marketing of Spyrou Philoxenia.

The company’s new member hotels are “Panorama Studios” on the island of Skopelos, the “Ionian Beach Villas” in Kyllini in the Peloponnese, “Ifigenias’ Houses” in Nafpaktia and “Hotel Dovra” in Zagorochoria.

According to Spyrou Philoxenia, Skopelos is a preferred destination among families, but also ideal for romantic getaways and nature lovers, while Kyllini provides a great location to explore nearby sites, such as Ancient Olympia, and the Ionian islands of Zakynthos and Kefallonia. The mountainous area of Nafpaktia in Western Greece is an ideal destination for hiking, trekking and rafting among other activities.

Zagorochoria consists of 48 traditional villages in Epirus, northwestern Greece. Visitors can enjoy numerous outdoor activities including hiking, trekking, mountain biking and canyoning, offered by Spyrou Philoxenia’s partner, Trekking Hellas.

According to Dimitris Schistohilis, Project Manager of Spyrou Philoxenia, the company’s partnerships with international tour operators, as well as current digital and offline marketing initiatives aim not only to increase its market share, but also to attract more visitors in the areas, where its affiliate members are located.

Meanwhile, Spyrou Philoxenia  representatives held a series of B2C (Business to Consumer) meetings, during the 1st Greek Travel Show 2017, which was recently held in Athens and attracted thousands of Greek visitors, who were in seek of new ideas on how to spend their summer holidays.

The company was hosted in the Region of Thessaly’s exhibition stand and its executives had the opportunity to inform visitors on a summer contest and the available special offers, which included free stays at affiliate hotels on the islands of North Sporades, in the Peloponnese and on Mount Pelion.

Organized by national exhibition body, TIF-Helexpo, the 1st Greek Travel Show took place on May 19-21 at the Helexpo Exhibition Center in Athens.
