Kyvernitis Travel Sponsors EASE’s ‘Ambidextrous Leaders’ Conference

Kyvernitis Travel was among the sponsors of the 28th conference of the Association of Chief Executive Officers (also known as EASE) recently held in Lagonissi, Attica with the participation of 500 business leaders.

Titled “Ambidextrous Leaders in a Paradoxical World” the conference focused on today’s ambidextrous leaders, who embrace conflicting strategies and see paradox as a challenge, an announcement said.

“This year’s theme was particularly interesting and the speakers gave us food for thought regarding the different aspects of a leader’s profile and the way we perceive him or her,” George Kyvernitis, vice president of Kyvernitis Travel S.A. said. “It was a fruitful discussion which I am sure will have a positive impact,” he added.

EASE president Nikitas Konstantellos opened the conference’s first day, which was attended by internationally acclaimed senior business executives and academics, such as Dr. Wendy Smith, an expert on paradox strategy; Anders Gustafsson, Volvo vice-president; Itay Talgam, Israeli conductor and business consultant; Ioulia Tseti, chairwoman and managing director of Uni-Pharma and InterMed; Odysseas Athanasiou, managing director of Lamda Development and Panos Pahatouridis, strategic partnerships group manager of Google.

The second day focused on “Active Listening” and was opened by Father Vassilios Thermos of the Metropolis of Thebes and Levadia. Among the participants were journalist Giannis Vlastaris, cartoonist Andreas Petroulakis, songwriter Dionysis Savopoulos and EASE management consultant Giannis Anastasopoulos.

The event came to an end with a performance by stand-up comedian Lambros Fisfis.
