Axia Hospitality Rising High in Greek Tourism Industry

In only five years of operation, reservation management company Axia Hospitality has managed to gain a significant share of the Greek hospitality market and spread its knowledge to a number of tourism enterprises.

Axia Hospitality offers hotels its expertise in sales management, global management, online reservations systems (IDS) and advisory services.

According to the company’s founder, Yiannis Kyritsis, since Axia Hospitality launched in 2012 it has achieved cooperation with over 50 hotels and tourist accommodation units in 15 Greek destinations, while the turnover of its entire clientele amounts to some 32 million euros.

Axia Hospitality is the first company in Greece specializing in holistic reservation management and online sales and its aim is to increase its customers’ occupancy and revenue, while decreasing labor costs. The company has launched cooperations with major online booking systems and manages a sales and marketing network with over 3,500 contacts worldwide.

“Axia Hospitality is a hotel’s valuable associate, which will help relieve it of the stressful booking procedure and complexity of sales,” Kyritsis said.

Most of the company’s partnerships are with hotels on islands on the Ionian and the Cyclades, such as Andronis exlusive, Santorini Secret, Naxian Collection, Minois Village, while in the last year Axia Hospitality is focusing on the Athens hospitality market. In particular, it currently has partnerships with five accommodation units in the Greek capital, such as the Athens Tiare Hotel and the 18 Micon Street Hotel. By the end of the year the company will have added another three Athens hotels to its roster.

Axia Hospitality has received a variety of awards and accolades in recognition of its services, including a Silver Award at the Tourism Awards 2017 in the “Hotel Management, Consulting & Development for Reservations & Sales Management” category, a Gold Award at the Greek Hospitality Awards 2016 in the “Best Hotel Technology Innovation” category and a Silver Award at the Tourism Awards 2016 in the “Innovative concept, product, operating model or service provider / Start-up” category for the Hands Free Hotelier service it launched in partnership with Nelios, the largest hotel-only digital advertising agency in Greece.
