Costa Navarino to Host Weekend Event Dedicated to Pets

In an effort to raise awareness on the protection and care of stray animals, Costa Navarino, located in Messinia in southwestern Peloponnese, on May 19-21, will host the #WeAreBetterwithPets weekend that will include a series of events dedicated to pets.

The initiative is part of the activities of the Navarino Pet Community, a shelter for stray animals currently operating at Costa Navarino, with the participation of volunteers, employees and professionals, who aim to find a permanent home for the area’s stray animals.

According to an announcement, over 30 dogs have been adopted so far by partners and guests of Costa Navarino, now enjoying a better life in Greece and abroad, namely Sweden, Switzerland, Italy and the UK. Furthermore, the initiative has mobilized the local community.

Visitors will have the chance to support this initiative, while enjoying a special weekend with their pets at Costa Navarino and also add a member to their family.

The program of the #WeAreBetterwithPets weekend features a range of activities and surprises including training by a professional Greek dog trainer, pet grooming by the Aussie Pet Mobile GR and six months of complimentary food supply from PURINA®, for all adopted dogs.
