Greece’s Trademark ‘Xenia’ Hotel Expo Back in Action

The trademark Xenia exhibition is back, aiming to offer the latest insight into the hotel industry and much more during November 25-27 at the Metropolitan Expo.

The historic trade show, organized by Xenia Exhibitions-Conferences SA, stopped operations in 2012 with organizers citing economic difficulties due to the crisis. The exhibition, now being made possible through Forum SA, aims to gain lost ground.

“We believe that professionals and companies in the most active sector of the Greek economy deserve the highest quality exhibition professionally organized to the last detail. Forum SA has responded enthusiastically to this challenge. Our goal is for Xenia to regain its prestige and the institutional role it deserves and to be established as the reference point for Greece’s tourism industry,” said Nikos Choudalakis, president and CEO Forum SA.

“Xenia aims to become one of the largest hotel exhibitions internationally,” he added.

Hospitality sector professionals will have the chance during Xenia 2017, to meet representatives from leading companies providing hotel equipment, technology solutions and online services, companies active in construction, renovation and energy saving, as well as food industry suppliers.

Xenia 2017 will also feature parallel events and activities including seminars, masterclasses and open discussions on the latest trends in construction and decoration, technological developments regarding functionality and space, as well as on the latest web applications and the digital environment.

Xenia 2017 will be held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Hotel Federation and the Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association.
