This week we introduce Antonis Ntatzopoulos, president of the Hellenic Bankers Association (HBA) – UK.
HBA was created in 1994 in order to promote new cooperations and collaborations between the Bankers and Financial Professionals of Greece, Cyprus and the United Kingdom. Through their activities they assist their members to network, learn, be educated and present themselves in the financial sector of the City of London.
Antonis has 11 years experience in Investment Banking, FIG Coverage and Capital Markets. He is currently in Financial Institutions Loan Markets focused on UK and European Insurers, Brokers, and Global Asset Managers financing over 14 transactions in 2015. In 2012, Antonis joined the Sovereign Wealth Funds global coverage team with focus to improve the RBS FICC business share and to coordinate targeted investment solutions including debt advisory, financing and risk management for direct and alternative investments.
He started his career in RBS Markets as an analyst and in 2007 moved on to Debt Capital Markets covering Greek, Cypriot, Italian as well as German and Nordic clients. Since 2007, has originated and executed 38 public and private transactions for a total amount of €33bn, as well as structured finance and structured derivatives transactions in Greece.
