Strada Marina on Zakynthos to Wrap Up Renovation in April
By Nikos Krinis
The Strada Marina hotel on the island of Zakynthos is making the finishing touches to its modern renovation and will present its new face just in time for the Greek Easter holiday in April.
Following a 270.000 euros renovation, the refurbished property will offer stylish guest areas and convenient amenities. Located in the town of Zakynthos, with views towards the port, Solomos’ square and Bohali hill, the hotel features 112 revamped and fully equipped guest rooms with laminated floors, ranging from Classic to Deluxe suites, and a renovated roof garden that includes a swimming pool.
“For three years in a row we have been making changes to the hotel and updating our equipment, closely following the continuous changing demands of our industry. We expect works to be completed by the end of March 2017,” the managing director, Pigi Tyrogala, told the Greek Travel Pages (GTP), adding that the whole renovation was covered entirely by the company Tyrogala AXEE, and did not receive any subsidies.

The renovation project includes the dining area, as well as exterior upgrades to the building and grounds. A plumbing renewal also took place throughout the property.
“The Strada Marina is the oldest hotel on Zakynthos, nicknamed rightly by all as the island’s “gate” that graces the harbor,” the hotel’s manager, Eleni Skitzi, told GTP.
“We look forward to a good season, which is already showing us strong signs of growth and strengthening our renewed image,” Skitzi said.
To celebrate the revamp of the hotel, Strada Marina has announced a special Spring Offer for customers that book directly from its website.
