New Partnership Expected to Boost Wedding Tourism in Greece

Greece is expected to see a boost in visitors (couples) wishing to combine their wedding with tourism following the recent partnership between travel giant TUI UK and, a Cypriot based innovative online platform for civil wedding bookings in Greece and Cyprus.

The new cooperation will see the British travel group incorporate the platform as part of its booking process, reinforcing the wedding tourism wave towards Cyprus and Greece, offering an improved, automated, and simplified booking procedures.

According to an announcement by, wedding bookings will now be processed immediately, avoiding bureaucratic procedures and inconvenient waiting periods that often proved to deter couples wishing to enjoy their wedding abroad. said that not only will couples avoid delays, but they can now select their ideal venue for the special day at the click of a button.

“The platform constitutes an effective tool for all involved parties, whilst simultaneously putting Greece firmly on the map of top wedding tourism destinations in the world”, the founder and CEO of the Book Your Wedding Day portal, Maria Evripides, said on the agreement with TUI UK.
