All the more Alsatian travelers are keen on visiting Greek destinations, Yalos Tours said following its participation in the FestiVITAS tourism and gastronomy exhibition held in Mulhouse, France, earlier this month.
Specializing in tourism programs for the French-speaking market, Yalos Tours participated in the event with its own stand and offered visitors a taste of Greece and the Mediterranean with Greek delicacies as well as with a series of presentations. The event attracted more than 200 exhibitors from the tourism and cruise sectors and over 100 exhibitors from the gastronomy and wine industry.
Yalos Tours underlined the strong interest of FestiVitas participants in Greece, many of whom said they had visited the country multiple times. To meet the demand, flights have been scheduled from EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg to Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Kos, Crete and Corfu. Travel to Athens will be boosted with direct Aegean Airlines flights from Strasbourg, to start in April.
During the exhibition a lottery was held by Yalos Tours in collaboration with EuroAirport for three different destinations in Greece. The three lucky couples won a week’s vacation in collaborating hotels such as hotel Miramare in Evia , hotel Pyrgaki in Paros and hotel Primasol Louis Ionian Sun in Corfu.
