Greek Hotels Shine on TripAdvisor’s 2017 Best Lists

A number of Greek hotels are among the winners of the Travelers’ Choice for Hotels awards for 2017, according to the travel planning and booking site TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor travelers worldwide have placed one Greek hotel on the list of the world’s 25 Top Hotels Overall for 2017: the Lindos Blu on Rhodes (18th place). The hotel is also in the 6th place on the list of the 25 Top Hotels in Europe. The Sani Asterias (24th) and Porto Sani (25th), both members of the Sani Resort in Halkidiki, are also on the 25 Top Hotels in Europe list.

Travelers’ Choice award winners were determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from TripAdvisor travelers worldwide. In the 15th year of the awards, TripAdvisor has highlighted the world’s top 7,612 properties in 109 countries and eight regions worldwide, in the categories of Top Hotels Overall, Luxury, Bargain, Small, Service, B&Bs and Inns, Romance and Family.

According to TripAdvisor, the hallmarks of Travelers’ Choice hotels winners are remarkable service, value and quality.

The Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection in Hungary is the top hotel in the world and in Europe.

Eight Greek hotels are on the TripAdvisor lists of leading hotels of the world for 2017 and 12 shine on the lists of the top hotels in Europe for this year.
