“This is an important international event which will place Serres at the heart of all the action,” Geo Routes Cultural Institute President Giannis Balakakis said during a press conference on the event, adding that the three main areas of focus will be culture, tourism and economic cooperation between countries.
In order for the forum to have results, Balakakis stressed the need for local community support and invited volunteers to play an important and necessary part in the event.
