Hong Kong Airlines to Launch Daily Service to Vancouver, Canada

Highlighting that Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2017, Hong Kong Airlines recently announced that it will operate daily direct flights between Hong Kong and Vancouver as of June 30.

“This new route service is Hong Kong Airlines’ debut in North America and we wish to attract as many visitors as possible to see the beautiful city of Vancouver, as well as encourage family reunions or business co-operation”, Li Dianchun, Chief Commercial Officer of Hong Kong Airlines said in an announcement.

The Hong Kong-Vancouver route will be serviced by Airbus A330 aircraft.

The flight from Hong Kong to Vancouver will depart Hong Kong each day at 12:30 pm and arrive in Vancouver 10:10 am the same day. From Vancouver the flight will depart to Hong Kong daily at 12:10 pm and arrive at 4:50 pm the next day.

According to Dianchun, the new route will also open up more opportunities for travelers worldwide to leverage the airline’s connectivity in Asia, hence bringing more diverse and convenient travel options for travelers from Hong Kong, the Pearl River Delta region, Oceania and North America.
