The area’s natural surroundings allow many outdoor activities such as hiking and rafting in the Lousios River, exploring the beautiful caves in the vicinity, and skiing at the Mainalon Ski Center. Meanwhile, visitors looking for a cultural experience can thoroughly enjoy the traditional villages and historic monasteries in the area.

“Working with destinations on the Greek mainland, we are helping to introduce the different types of alternate experiences vs. the traditional ‘Sea and Sun'”, Schistohilis added.

According to a recent survey by the Greek National Tourism Organization, visitor satisfaction in the Fall season was very high, reconfirming the strong tourism product that Greece offers year-round.
