‘Air Canada rouge’ to Connect Greece with Canada in April 2017

Air Canada recently announced that its leisure airline, Air Canada rouge, will resume its seasonal non-stop flights between Athens and Toronto/Montreal on April 20, 2017. The airline will connect Greece with the two Canadian cities with two daily direct flights.

The announcement was made at Air Canada Greece’s annual Christmas dinner held on December 2 for its partners at the Acropolis Museum restaurant in Athens.

Air Canada’s Christmas dinner was attended by the Ambassador of Canada in Greece Keith Morrill, the president of the Hellenic-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Konstantinos Katsigiannis, and representatives of the Greek tourism industry.

“After a year of unparalleled success, Air Canada wanted to thank its partners for all their support”, a representative of TAL Aviation Hellas, Air Canada’s general sales agent (GSA) in Greece, said.

From Toronto and Montreal, Air Canada’s passengers travelling from Athens will have access to convenient connection flights through the company’s network to the United States, the Caribbean and South America.
