Tourism Awards 2017: Celebrating the best of Greece
The entry guidelines for the fourth edition of the Tourism Awards, which acknowledge the best practices in travel, hospitality and leisure across Greece, are now available.
Under the slogan “Do you have something to share?”, organizers Boussias Communications and Hotel & Restaurant magazine are inviting all enterprises and organizations that contribute to the upgrade of the Greek tourism product, to submit nominations for the Tourism Awards 2017.
The entry deadline for the Tourism Awards 2017 will be January 20, 2017. The award ceremony will take place in March 2017.
In its fourth year, the Tourism Awards are the first and the biggest prizes of the Greek tourism industry. Companies that have received a Tourism Award include TEMES – Costa Navarino, Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the Athens Hilton, New Hotel, Athens Was Hotel, Grand Resort Lagonissi, Myconian Collection Hotels, Tainaron Blue Retreat, International Airport Athens, Marketing Greece, Mount Athos Area, Celestyal Cruises, Blue Star Ferries, Super Fast Ferries, Turkish Airlines, Hotel Brain, Trivago and Tripsta.
The Tourism Awards 2017 are including the new categories of “Guest Experience” and “Tourist Attractions” and subcategories have been added to all 12 standard award categories such as: Major Tourism Event, Personalized & Tailor-Made Experiences, VIP & Luxury Services, Digital Destination Guides and Storytelling Excellence.
Last year’s ceremony attracted some 700 attendees at Athens’ Megaron Concert Hall.
