Amadeus Receives Honourary Distinction for Contribution to Travel Industry

Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the travel industry, was recently awarded with an honourary distinction for its contribution to the travel industry for systematically investing and contributing to the global think tank with research reports that focus on technology and future travel trends.

The technology company received the award during the fourth Digi.Travel EMEA Conference & Expo 2016, which took place in Athens in November and covered major topics surrounding the global trends in eTourism, Digital Marketing, Mobile Tourism and Mobile Marketing.

Amadeus was the platinum sponsor of the event and participated with a very interesting presentation, regarding the digital disruption in payments and how these affect travel agencies’ operations and their B2B payment procedures.

The fourth Digi.Travel EMEA Conference & Expo 2016 event was attended by over 220 professionals from the travel and air market of Greece.
