Costa Navarino Named ‘IAGTO European Golf Resort of the Year 2017’

Costa Navarino, a sustainable destination in the southwest Peloponnese in Greece, has been honored with the prestigious title of “2017 European Golf Resort of the Year” at the IAGTO Awards ceremony held in Palma, Spain, on Thursday, November 17.

The award of European Golf Resort of the Year is voted for by almost 640 specialist golf travel tour operators, who are each members of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators, and based in more than 61 countries worldwide.

Costa Navarino, situated amongst olive groves and complemented by the azure Ionian Sea, features two 18 Hole signature golf courses,  The Dunes Course and The Bay Course.

The Bay Course is designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Jr, with a layout offering panoramic seaside and mountain views, in addition to featuring holes that can be traced directly along the historic Bay of Navarino, providing an unforgettable golfing experience.
