Hilton Athens’ Galaxy Restaurant Promises a Unique Winter Dining Experience
The fashionable Galaxy restaurant, located on the top floor of the Hilton Athens hotel, invites all to an unforgettable dining experience this winter.
With a focus on Greek seasonal products, Executive Chef Kostas Athanasiou has created a new cosmopolitan menu: Bulgur salad with cucumber, raisins, pomegranates and yoghurt; Athinaiki salad with sea bass, zucchini, lemon pearls, kaymak cream with black caviar and wasabi foam; and the reconstructed Greek salad with Kalavrita feta cheese mousse.
Besides the Black Angus rib eye, highly recommended to meat lovers is the menu’s new entry: Teres Major Black Angus beef with buttered potato, vegetables and tomato cream.
Galaxy also offers interesting combinations of the sushi menu such as the Dragon roll with Panko shrimp and avocado and the Surf ’n’ Turf with beef fillet teriyaki glaze.
The dining experience at the Galaxy restaurant will be complete with the Valrhona chocolate with chestnut mousse and white chocolate cream and the special Tomato cremeux with pepper candied strawberry confit, olive marmalade, mozzarella ice cream and basil – honey pesto sauce.
Dinner seating options include the oblong high table with Acropolis view, the Sushi Bar to watch chefs in action and the tables overlooking the illuminated Vassilissis Sofias Avenue and the Tower of Athens.
In Galaxy, the city lights become one with the impressive roof lighting referring to the stars and galaxies, creating an amazing scenery.
Customers are recommended to start their evening with a signature cocktail from the new Galaxy Bar menu such as the Hugo with elderflower liqueur and the Spice of Aegean with Hendrick’s gin, 3 Cents Aegean tonic water, fresh pepper and cucumber peel.
