Altair Travel Agency Appoints George Tekakis as Int’l Business Development Manager

Altair Travel Agency, one of the top online travel agencies (OTAs) in Greece and Europe (trade name for the Greek market Petas.gr, trade name for abroad Tripair.com), has announced the appointment of George Tekakis as its new International Business Development Manager.

Tekakis, who previously occupied the position of Sales Executive for Greece and Cyprus at Air Berlin, will be in charge of managing the communications and negotiations with all airlines in terms of incentives schemes, agreements and contracts. It is expected that Tekakis’ previous experience as Senior Sales Executive at Gulf Air and as Passenger Sales Executive at Austrian Airlines will enhance the beneficial cooperation between Altair Travel and all major airlines.

“The recent expansion of our business operations to 48 countries worldwide requires the strengthening of our communication with the airlines, so as to agree on ways to further increase our sales to our mutual benefit”, noted Mr. Nikolaos Peroulis, the CEO of Altair Travel.

Tekakis has a PMBA Major in Aviation and Airports and a Global Aviation Management Certificate from the Hellenic American University.
