Airlines have reinstated flights that were planned to be cancelled on Sunday and Monday, after the union of Greek air traffic controllers pulled its planned strike action.

AEGEAN and Olympic Air will carry out most of its scheduled flights on Sunday (October 9) and operate all flights as planned on Monday (October 10).

Sky Express has announced new flights for Sunday and Ryanair has reinstated all flights to and within Greece.

Passengers should seek further information from the airlines regarding their flights.

The air traffic controllers on Thursday had announced the launch of four 24-hour rolling strikes on Sunday. As a result, airlines were forced to cancel a number of international and domestic flights, which caused the reaction of the Greek tourism sector.
