Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, on Monday announced a new schedule for flights to and from Athens, Greece.
According to an announcement, the carrier will introduce morning flights as of November 2 to allow passengers more flexibility in choosing convenient timing and better connectivity to other destinations further east via connecting flights.
Gulf Air currently operates four weekly flights from Bahrain to Athens on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
“Since we resumed services to Athens in the summer of 2014, the route has shown strong and steady growth to date”, Ahmed Janahi, Gulf Air Chief commercial officer said.
“Athens is a key European destination in our network and we saw more customers from the region choosing to spend their holidays in Greece”, he added.
