TUI Germany, Germany’s largest tour operator, announced on Monday that it will expand its programme for the Greek island of Kos with additional seats until the end of October.
As of September 12, seven TUIfly connections from Germany to Kos, with a total of 1,700 seats, are available to customers.
According to an announcement by TUI, Greece is among the winners of this year’s tourism season. “Clean beaches, good quality, the pleasant climate and the Greek hospitality make Greece an attractive tourist destination also during October”, the travel giant said.
TUI’s presence in Greece includes owned hotels in major destinations in the country that offer differentiated experiences tailored to customer wishes.
Last week in Athens, Greek Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura held a meeting with TUI Group’s Thomas Ellerbeck.
“Greece is among TUI Group’s most important markets and among the five most popular destinations of the company worldwide”, Mr Ellerbeck had said.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibilities to promote new Greek destinations to overseas markets throughout the year, with a focus on specific forms such as cruise tourism.
A subsidiary company of the TUI Group, TUI Germany includes tour operators TUI, 1-2FLY, Airtours, L’tur, Gebeco and Berge & Meer and the airline TUIfly.
