SETE Says ‘No’ to Hotspots at Greece’s Tourist Destinations

The Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), representing over 50,000 businesses, is calling on the government to reconsider a plan to construct so-called hotspots, or refugee registration centers, at major tourist locations across the country.

Summer Blow to Greece’s Small Hospitality Businesses, Viability at Risk

Small accommodation businesses active in tourism have taken a blow this year, recording decreased arrivals and overnight stays as well as diminishing revenue, according to the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETKE).
