Mouzenidis Travel Ready to Break Guinness World Record for Largest Greek Salad

Mouzenidis Travel, a member of Mouzenidis Group, will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for “the largest Greek salad in the world” at Moscow’s Red Square on September 4.

“Mouzenidis Travel took the initiative to organize and carry out a unique event aiming, as always, the promotion of Greece abroad”, the company said in an announcement.

Over 1,200 volunteers will participate in making the largest Greek salad in history, which will weigh 20 tons.

Preparation time will be about two hours and a representative of Guinness will be on hand to verify the record.

“Mouzenidis Travel is ready to put Greece in the Guinness book and Greek flavors on world dishes”, the company added.

The event will be part of a wider celebration, the Russian International Festival of Military Music and the festivities of Moscow Day, celebrated the first days of September.

Festivities will include entertainment events, musical performances by renowned artists and competitions.
