Sky Express Adds Another ATR42-500 Aircraft to Fleet
Greek airline Sky Express recently added one more ATR42-500 aircraft, with capacity of 48 seats, to its fleet.
With 11 years of innovative and qualitative presence in the airline industry, Sky Express has operated over 70,000 all year round flights.
“We are moving forward with more aircraft and new additional destinations… We are always thankful to our passengers, who support, embrace and recognize each of our new endeavors”, the airline’s management said in an announcement.
Sky Express was recently honored by Athens International Airport as the “2015 Fastest Growing Airline – Thin Route”. The airline has also won the “ERA Silver Award 2014/15” from the Association of European Regional Airlines.
Sky Express has added additional destinations to its schedule for summer 2016 and offers daily connections from Athens to Santorini, Mykonos and Heraklio and also operates direct flights from Heraklio to Ikaria, Lesvos, Kos, Rhodes.
The airline also serves Ionian destinations and the islands of the East Aegean and connects Thessaloniki to Skyros and Crete to Evros.
