Inspired Chef Karamolegos Does Culinary Magic at Costa Navarino
Award-winning chef Chrysanthos Karamolegos is doing his culinary magic this year at luxury resort Costa Navarino’s famed Barbouni seafront restaurant in Messinia.
Focusing on fresh fish with the catch of the day as the basic ingredient, Chef Karamolegos whips up inspired delicacies using the finest local ingredients, bringing together tradition, know-how, experience and innovation in order to satisfy the most demanding of palates.
Picking the crop from Costa Navarino’s very own vegetable gardens, some of Chef Karamolegos’ creations include tempura sardines with fig and lime vinaigrette, or the sharp Messinian sfela cheese accompanied by tomato and lemon jam.
“Our expectation is for traditional local recipes to emerge as a unique culinary journey for our guests,” said Santorini-born Karamolegos of his latest cooperation with Costa Navarino’s Barbouni restaurant.
