Stepping into a new era and on the occasion of the opening of the brand new 5-star hotel “Electra Metropolis” in Athens, the group of Electra Hotels & Resorts has enhanced its staff with new dynamic executives.
George Spyropoulos joins the Electra Hotels & Resorts team as the General Manager of the soon to open Electra Metropolis Hotel, bringing 15 years of experience that include work with top Greek hotels Makedonia Palace, The Met, Porto Carras Grand Resort, Athenaeum Intercontinental Athens and Aldemar Resorts. The new Electra Metropolis Hotel is expected to open its doors soon.
The hotel group, welcomes Kalliopi Karantemiri as Human Resources Director. Her current role draws on her over 17 years of experience from her position as Human Resources & Quality Director at Aldemar Resorts. At Electra Hotels and Resorts, Kalliopi will be in charge of Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Planning, Monitoring & Appraising, Budgeting, Assessing & Maintaining Benefits needs.
The Electra group also welcomes Elena Zafeiropoulou as Marketing Manager of all of its hotels. Her role consists of the implementation of the Electra Hotels and Resort’s new Integrated Marketing Strategy. Elena has varied marketing and PR experience in the private and public sectors, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the American College of Greece in Communication and Advertising and a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from the University of Westminster in London, UK.
The new additions to Electra Hotels and Resorts team, include the introduction of Evdokia Tsatsouri as the new Sales Manager of the Electra Palace Thessaloniki and Electra Athens hotels. Evdokia has an extended experience in the tourism industry and joins the Electra team following her position as Marketing Manager of the Thessaloniki Hotels Association where she specialized in Tourism Destination Marketing.
