UIA Receives AIA Award for ‘Fastest Developing Carrier for Eastern Europe’

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) was honored as the “Fastest Developing Carrier for Eastern Europe” of 2015 at the 16th Airline Marketing Workshop, held recently by Athens International Airport (AIA).

“UIA services, connecting Kiev with Athens, enjoy strong popularity within travelers from Ukraine and Greece alike”, said Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary.

AIA honored airlines that recorded the fastest development and the highest increases in passenger volumes in their scheduled services during 2015.

“We are very pleased our partner – Athens International Airport – appreciates UIA efforts and achievement”, said Satska.

“Finding UIA in the same list with such carriers as Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, easyJet, Ryanair, Aegean Airlines, and other airlines from the AIA top 10 is really great.”

Gold Star Aviation is UIA’s general sales agent (GSA) in Greece.
