China Airlines to Launch Taipei-Athens Summer Service

China Airlines Airbus A340-300China Airlines recently announced plans to launch a new seasonal charter service from Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan to Athens from June.

The announcement came after the airline partnered with six tour operators to offer tour packages to Greece.

According to the Taiwanese carrier, the service from Taipei to Athens will be operated with a 276-seat Airbus A340-300 aircraft and is scheduled to depart from Taipei at 11:20 pm every Friday and arrive in the Greek capital at 7:30 am the following day.

The return flight to Taipei will depart Athens at 1 pm every Saturday and arrive at 6:10 am on Sunday.

The last outbound flight will depart Taipei on September 30 and the last return service will leave Athens on October 8.

According to the carrier, flights can be booked exclusively through its partner six tour operators: Lion Travel, Cola Tour, Artisan Tour, SET Tour, Phoenix Tours and MITravel.
