Greece and Egypt will initiate a new era in tourism relations with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to an announcement of the Tourism Ministry, the MoU between Greece and Egypt will be signed during the visit of Greek Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura in Cairo on Saturday, February 20.

The official visit of Minister Kountoura follows the invitation of her Egyptian counterpart, Hisham Zaazou.

During her stay in Cairo, Ms Kountoura will also meet Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed Hassan Kamal; the chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Organization, Samy Mahmoud; and the president of the Federation Travel Agents, Elhamy El Zayat.
