Greek Travel Agents Eye Iranian Market

FEDHATTA logoThe Federation of Hellenic Associations of Tourist & Travel Agencies (FEDHATTA) and the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) have set eyes on the Iranian market and announced that they will strongly engage in the coming period to attract travelers from Iran to Greece.

The announcement came following the high interest that Iranian travel and tourism professionals showed towards Greece during the “Greek-Iranian Tourism Networking Event” that took place last week in Tehran during the official visit of a Greek delegation of representatives from the country’s tourism sector on January 28-29.

FEDHATTA’s president, Lysandros Tsilidis, participated in the delegation along with representatives of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation, Athens International Airport and Aegean Airlines.

The visit took place ahead of the GNTO’s participation in the Tehran International Tourism Exhibition (TITE) taking place February 16-19. HATTA informs its members that it will participate in the exhibition.
