Cycling Chaps & Gals to Hit Spetses for 3rd Tweed Run
It’s all about fun and fitness in retro style at the 3rd Tweed Run to be hosted yet again on the Saronic island of Spetses this coming spring on April 15-17.
Bicycle buffs dressed in tweed, vintage hats, shoes and all, hop on their retro bikes and take a tour of the town in a race like no other.
Based on the first Tweed Run held in 2009 in London, the Spetses variety, organized by the island’s world-famed Poseidonion Grand Hotel, was first held in 2014 and has since won over the crowds, who flock to the tiny Greek island for some wholesome fun in the sun.
Come April 15, happenings, picnics, traditional tea parties, moustache grooming, treasure hunts, bike trials, vintage beauty pageants, jazz concerts, Sunday brunch, best bicycle awards and much more will be taking place across the island starting from the historic Poseidonion Grand Hotel.
Stay tuned for more info soon.
