Ryanair Celebrates Carrying 1m Customers on Athens-Thessaloniki Route

Ryanair on Tuesday celebrated carrying one million customers between Athens and Thessaloniki since its first flight in April 2014.

Ryanair operates nine daily connections between Athens and Thessaloniki, offering more than 1,600 daily seats on the route and contributing to domestic traffic at both Athens and Thessaloniki airports.

“This year, we will deliver over 3.4 million customers at Athens airport, supporting 2,250 on site jobs, and we remain committed to growing Greek traffic, jobs and tourism”, Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Manager for Greece, Chiara Ravara said.

Ryanair celebrated carrying its 1 millionth customer on the Athens – Thessaloniki route by releasing special Business Plus fares available on its website until Friday 26 February.
