LA-based assets management firm Oaktree has joined Sani SA and Ikos SA, both running luxury hotel units in the Halkidiki peninsula, forming a new venture in tourism which aims to expand both brands individually and invest in related projects across Greece.

Eurostat: Number of Females in Tourism Grows

The number of women working in tourism is growing, according to a Eurostat report, which found that while females represented just over a third (36 percent) of persons employed in the non-financial business economy in 2014, 58 percent were occupied in core tourism activities.
