The Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) recently announced that it has restructured its Board of Directors.
According to an announcement, the restructuring was deemed necessary by HATTA’s board of directors in order to achieve one of the association’s main objectives: strengthening the efforts of the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Tourist & Travel Agencies (FEDHATTA).
Since its launch in March, FEDHATTA has accomplished to establish itself as the representative body of the country’s travel agencies and therefore strengthen the sector’s voice. It is noted that the Greek Union of Air Travel Agencies (PETAGA) recently joined the federation.
Stathis Skretas has been appointed as the new president of HATTA, taking the helm from Lysandros Tsilidis who is now the head of FEDHATTA.
“In FEDHATTA, all associations/members are represented equally and the aim is to ensure the widest participation and representation of the sector and achieve the pluralism required to strengthen the federation”, Mr Tsilidis said.
