Rent a Home Legal in Greece

Greek homeowners can now rent out their houses for temporary use without being required to obtain a special operations label following an amendment made to the law last month abolishing rental terms.
Under the third bailout plan the Greek government agreed to with its creditors earlier this year, Greek property owners can now rent their homes through popular online platforms such as Airbnb, or through private rental contracts, without holding the special operations label awarded by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
Under the new provisions, homeowners who plan on leasing their homes are required according to Greek tax legislation to register the details of the rentals online with the Ministry of Administrative Reform and e-Governance in order to obtain a registration number for the said lease.
The recent change in the law is expected to raise concerns among the country’s accommodation professionals and require fine-tuning by both the tourism and finance ministries.

Does this mean that no official EOT license is anymore needed and does this apply also to a complex of houses or to individual detached houses only?
