divani_caravelRenowned British TV chef Jonathan Phang has chosen the “Brown’s” restaurant at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens as his next stop on Monday, November 30, to offer exotic culinary experiences.

Travel Channel’s internationally renowned host and chef will share mouth-watering recipes inspired by his journeys across the globe with Travel Channel’s “Gourmet Trains” show.

The award winning chef, in an exclusive collaboration with Divani Hotels Group and The Food & Leisure Guide, will help us embark on a tasty journey under a concept inspired by his travels and culinary experiences — “4 dishes, 4 destinations, 4 stories” —  and introduce us to flavors and culinary habits and tastes of exotic destinations.

Divani_Joanthan_Phang_1Jonathan Phang’s menu will consist of:

– Spiced Pumpkin & Seafood Soup
– Herb Crusted Beef Carpaccio with Rocket, Watercress Salad & Mustard Emulsion
– Caribbean Beef Stew with Celery Root Purée & Asparagus
– Chocolate Sphere with Rum & Vanilla Ice Cream with Raisins

All dishes will be accompanied by cocktails created by mixologist Simos Tagaras and inspired by the chef’s journeys. The cocktails will match perfectly with the menu, a collaboration with the Karoulias company.

Entry price: 80 euros per person (drinks included)
Arrival time: 21:00 sharp

For reservations please call Divani Caravel Hotel at 210 7207000 (Mrs. Olga Martyrosian)
