Historic Hotels of Europe Awards 2016 – Voting Now Open

Voting for the Fourth Annual Historic Hotels of Europe Awards is now open.

The Historic Hotels of Europe (HHE) is Europe’s most prestigious hotel network, representing almost 500 of the finest hotels from 15 member groups around the globe. The network promotes excellence in hospitality by featuring and promoting castles, palaces, abbeys and estates that offer their guests authentic high quality experiences.

The awards provide the HHE with the opportunity to reward the outstanding efforts of the staff at all the member hotels, as well as, celebrate the commitment that the member hoteliers have made towards keeping the traditions enshrined within their establishments alive and their never ending desire for excellency.

The diversity of the 500-member group are so diverse in location, history and type that the network has chosen to present 10 different awards that will best represent the spectrum of properties within the HHE:

– Best Castle Historic Hotel
– Best Countryside Historic Hotel
– Best Historic Hotel Spa Award
– Best Adventure and Activities Historic Hotel
– Most Romantic Historic Hotel
– Best Customer Care Historic Hotel
– Historic Hotel Best Restaurant
– Best City Historic Hotel
– Best Historic Hotel New Member Award
– Best Historic Hotel with “A Story to Tell”

The categories exemplify the types of luxury and authentic establishments within the HHE portfolio of hotels, each unique in its own right.

Guests of the hotels are not only welcomed to vote, but encouraged.

“While the HHE claims to have the most beautiful and authentic hotels in the world, validation from the guests who have spent their holidays and travel in these grand estates is incredibly important”, the HHE said in an announcement.

“The awards are a people’s choice award that will mean not only a lot to the organization, but also to the hotel’s themselves to receive the feedback of former guests.”

Voting is open until September 30, 2015, and the Awards Winner 2016 announcement and celebration will be held in France during November 2015 at the next General Assembly of Historic Hotels of Europe.
