Video: First Modern Olympic Games Honored at Commemorative Swim Event in Piraeus

119 years after the first modern Olympic Games, a commemorative open water swim revived in Pasalimani during the Maritime Days 2015 event in Piraeus last month.
On May 30, an international group of swimmers came together as one and celebrated the first open water swimming competition of the Olympic Games.
The athletes competed in 500 m freestyle swimming which was the first Olympic sport.
