Greece’s Costa Navarino Basketball Camp Combines Sport and Fun for the Family

It’s time for youngsters (and the young at heart) to shoot some hoops at the 3rd Costa Navarino Basketball Camp, which kicks off on June 27 and runs through to July 1.

The Westin Resort Costa Navarino offers families the unique opportunity to combine fitness and recreation during its popular Basketball Camp titled this year “Papaloukas & Friends” and featuring the coaching expertise of Greek basketball superstar Teo Papaloukas, who helped the Greek national team to a FIBA EuroBasket title in 2005 and a FIBA World Cup silver medal in 2006, among others.

Boys and girls aged seven to 17 will train daily at the Navarino Dunes’ closed FIBA-styled court while adults have the chance to participate in the hotel’s “Fantasy Camp”, offering the fun of basketball to the young at heart.

Popular Greek basketball players will be making guest appearances during the weeklong camp revealing in the meantime their secrets of the game.
