Greece a Leading Destination for Polish Tourists
Greece has topped a list of travel destinations preferred by Polish tourists in May, according to data of the Polish Tour Operators Association (PZOT) announced on Wednesday.
According to the data, released by Greek tourism consultants North Events, 86,000 more Poles travelled to Greece last month, a 14.5 percent increase over May 2014.
During the same period, Polish tourists traveled to Egypt, Turkey, Spain and Italy.
PZOT collects booking data from 2,500 Polish travel agencies.

Tourism consultants North Events is the only Greek company that is a member of PZOT.
On December 11-13, North Events will hold the first dedicated travel fair for Greece and Cyprus “GRECKA PANORAMA” at the Torwar Arena in Warsaw.
The exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Embassy of Greece in Warsaw, the Greek National Tourism Organization, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Hellenic Hotel Federation, the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and the Association of Greek Entrepreneurs in Poland “Hermes”.
