Hellenic Seaways Announces Summer 2015 Ferry Schedules to Greek Islands

Hellenic SeawaysPassenger shipping company Hellenic Seaways on Monday officially announced its new ferry schedules for travel to the Northeast Aegean islands this summer, following approval by the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Marine and Tourism.

The new routes will begin on June 15 and cover this year’s whole tourist season. According to the Greek shipping company, the connection of the specific islands will create strong growth prospects both for local communities and for tourism, as the combination of destinations is expected to increase passenger traffic.

The ferry schedules involve the following routes:

  • Nissos Rodos
    – Piraeus-Syros-Mykonos-Patmos-Samos-Ikaria
    – Agios-Kirykos-Vathy-Chios-Mytilini-Limnos-Kavala
  • Ariadne
    – Piraeus-Chios-Mytilini
    – Vathy-Chios-Mytilini-Limnos-Kavala
  • Nissos Mykonos
    – Piraeus-Paros-Naxos-Ikaria-Fourni-Samos
