Date for ’22nd Athens Cycling Tour’ Announced
The Organization of Culture Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA) has announced that the 22nd Athens Cycling Tour will take place on Sunday, April 26.
The event aims to raise the societal role of sport, free participation in all athletic events and initiation into the Olympic Idea of “fair play” and exercise.
The cycling tour will offer two routes — 2.7 km and 8.5 km — and the departure point will be in front of the Zappeion Megaron at 11:30 am. There will also be a mini-route (1.1 km) for the disabled, which will kick off at 11:40 from the Propylaia (Propylaea).
Cyclists can register online via OPANDA’s website (in Greek). Participants can also register on the day of the cycling tour in the courtyard of the Zappeion Megaron from 8:30 to 10:30 in the morning.
