‘TBEX at SEA’ Event to Launch in October

TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange) has announced a “TBEX at SEA” event onboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship. The event will take place on October 31 – November 7 and immediately follow the TBEX North America conference.

TBEX at SEA will feature in-depth, intimate educational sessions onboard Oasis on such topics as writing, food & wine, podcasting and business planning.

“We can’t believe the good fortune to announce such a great combination for our community”, Rick Calvert, CEO of NMX Events, said.

The Oasis of the Seas will sail a seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary visiting ports of call including the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

“Not only are we continuing to offer unique experiences to our travel community, we are able to offer complimentary registration for the TBEX at SEA experience.” Anyone registering for TBEX North America will be able to register free for TBEX at SEA.

The 2015 North America TBEX event will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, from October 28 until October 31 in Ft. Lauderdale, “The Venice of America”.

“Everyone we spoke to in Fort Lauderdale from the CVB to hotels and travel industry partners understood the value travel bloggers and the TBEX community could bring to their destination”, Mr. Calvert said.

Ft. Lauderdale offers travelers a wide variety of experiences, from exploring the Everglades, touring coral reefs and lush gardens, sampling a wide variety of cuisine from Latin fusion to Soul Food, visiting museums or simply enjoying the sparkling beaches.

Attendees will have time to explore the area as well as participating in the educational and networking opportunities at TBEX North America, held at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.

The North America TBEX event will follow the TBEX Europe conference that is scheduled to take place April 30 – May 2 at Lloret de Mar in Costa Brava, Catalunya Spain and the TBEX Asia event to take place October 15 – 17 in Bangkok, Thailand.
