HATTA Members Take in Greek Culture at Special Events

“Ancient Pathos” is a theater performance based on Ancient Greek Tragedy, especially created for foreign visitors in Athens and students.
The Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) is actively promoting Greek tourism, providing alternative options and enhancing the tourist experience through its ongoing series of guided tours for travel operators in Greece, to a number of the country’s cultural spaces, museums, art galleries and fine arts venues.
HATTA’s aim is to introduce travel agents to the potential and hosting capacity of each venue so that these may be included in future MICE events.
Following HATTA’s first trip to the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation earlier this year, travel agents and HATTA members were introduced last week to the Topos Allou Theater in Kypseli.
Following a joint committee meeting on Incoming and Thematic Tourism, HATTA members and guests saw an English-language performance of “Ancient Pathos”, a compilation of works by Greek poets Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides, exploring the art of Greek tragedy.
